I am a newbie when it comes to knitting. Like, I took my first knitting class in June and have only dabbled with a couple different stitches since then, new. I already love it so much, but it is still quite daunting to me. So for now, I’m just trying to perfect some really easy projects before I bust out the fancy stitches.
One of my favorite things about knitting is the beautiful color work that you can create with it. So, I wanted to incorporate some color work into my latest project. As soon as it got just a little bit cold, I started making these leg warmers to wear with some cozy leggings and boots. I practiced working this pink heart into the fabric sooo many times before I got it right. Once I finally figured it out, I decided there was no way I was doing a heart on the other leg warmer too! I really like how it turned out, but it seems I have a lot more practicing to do before I’m comfortable with color work.
